Welcome to CieloTracker Support by Sadiom. CieloTracker provides aviation weather monitoring (METARs and TAFs) with alerting tailored for dispatchers and pilots.

Frequently Asked Questions

• What is CieloTracker?
  CieloTracker monitors METARs and TAFs and highlights conditions that meet your alert thresholds. It is for informational use only; always verify with official sources such as 1800WXBRIEF.
• Where does the weather data come from?
  Data is retrieved from NOAA’s Aviation Weather Center and compatible aviation weather APIs.
• How often is weather updated?
  The app checks for new reports on issuance; background checks depend on iOS scheduling. Notifications require an active internet connection and permission.
• How do I set up alerts?
  Enter ICAO identifiers in the app. Under Settings → Thresholds, set your own Ceiling (feet) and Visibility (miles). For example, entering 2000 ft is evaluated as 020 (hundreds of feet) against BKN/OVC layers. Alerts trigger when reported or forecast conditions fall below your thresholds.
• Why isn’t data loading?
  Check connectivity and try a manual refresh. If issues persist, email dispatchskylabs@icloud.com.

Sadiom respects your privacy. CieloTracker does not create user accounts, does not collect any personal data, and does not use any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services. Your alert thresholds, preferences, and all other app data are stored locally on your device only.

The only network activity is sending ICAO codes (airport identifiers) you enter to public weather services (e.g., NOAA Aviation Weather Center) to fetch METAR/TAF data. These requests contain no personal information, device identifiers, location data beyond what you explicitly input, or any other tracking elements.

Data We Process

• Weather Requests — Only ICAO codes are sent to weather providers; no personal data is included or collected.
• Support Email — If you email us, we receive your email address and message solely to respond.

Sharing & Retention

• No data is shared with any third-party services for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
• Weather request history is never stored on our servers (or any servers we control).
• Support emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and resolve your inquiry.

Children

CieloTracker is intended for professional and general aviation users and is not directed to children under 13.
